- ➤ Downtown Main Street will close on March 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Market on the Main, a St. Patrick’s Day event running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (featuring over 100 vendors, live music, food, and family fun) with free garage parking at Casa de Palmas. KRGV

- ➤ Forever K-Pop A Celebration Concert will be in McAllen for one show only. The event will be held on May 3 at 3 p.m. at the McAllen Performing Arts Center and will feature live singing, dancing, and chart-topping K-Pop hits. KRGV
- ➤ McAllen educator and author Melissa Diaz launches her new children's book + My Love For You Is Everywhere: A Book About Co-Parenting Little Hearts, which offers advice for families navigating co-parenting. The book is available for borrowing at the McAllen Public Library. KRGV

- ➤ Recent data showed that Texas gas reached $3.21 per gallon on Tuesday, and experts warned that McAllen drivers may face higher prices if international disruptions continue + oil companies profit. - ➤ La Joya ISD will hold three meetings to update the community on a new student transportation system for the upcoming school year — sessions run 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 24 at La Joya High, March 26 at Juarez-Lincoln in Mission, and March 31 at Palmview High in Palmview. KRGV
- ➤ South Texas College will launch its new Wastewater Operator Training program for fall as part of the Skills for Sustainability initiative with partners including RGV Partnership and North American Development Bank + Trust for the Americas. The 10-month course provides 20 contact hours and a 108-hour heavy equipment module. KRGV
