- ➤ The City of Edcouch and the World Kitchen Center hosted a free Grab and Go Lunch event for residents affected by flooding at noon Sunday, March 30 at the Edcouch Fire Station—200 W Santa Rosa—with supplies available while they lasted. ValleyCentral.com
- ➤ The McAllen Salvation Army aided flood victims by setting up a disaster response covering Starr, Hidalgo, Cameron, and Willacy Counties — it provided 1,122 meals, 1,361 drinks, and 960 snacks on Saturday and helped deliver essential supplies on Sunday at the McAllen Corps and Mercedes Community Center.
