- ➤ Ralph Garcia (COO) of McAllen Economic Development Corporation announced Valeo will build a $225 million, 337,000 sqft facility in the Nearshoring Industrial Park on Ware Road; construction will complete in November with up to 500 jobs by 2027, and more projects (including a 500,000 sqft facility) are in the pipeline. - ➤ Memorial High School alumna Debbie Whitis Korth, now a lead engineer at NASA, helped design the Artemis II spacecraft and her mission—NASA's first crewed Moon trip in over 50 years—will launch Wednesday evening.
