- ➤ Cameron County and Harlingen partnered to assist flood victims at the Harlingen Convention Center, where local agencies helped residents replace lost documents on Saturday for anyone in the Rio Grande Valley. KRGV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A man identified as Jesus Carlos Rodriguez was arrested near Roasa Priego and Hester Avenue in Donna on charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing a controlled substance after a joint investigation by the Alamo Police Department, Donna Police Department, Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Office of the Inspector General, and the FBI led to a search warrant at his home that seized additional narcotics. - ➤ After heavy flooding last week, McAllen officials warned residents to avoid scammers posing as contractors and asking for money upfront—officials stressed the city does not hire private companies for storm repairs and urged everyone to verify licenses and report fraud to police. - ➤ Starr County Judge Eloy Vera held his State of the County Address at the Julabe Events Center in Rio Grande City and showed videos from U.S. Rep.
