- ➤ A man identified as 40-year-old Jose Luis Garcia was arrested by McAllen police on Wednesday after reports of suspicious activity and unconfirmed screams led to a domestic dispute on the 6500 block of North 8th Street—victim sustained minor injuries and Garcia faces an assault charge. KRGV
- ➤ McAllen police identified two people in a surveillance photo taken shortly after midnight on Thursday at the 6500 block of North 8th Street after receiving reports of unconfirmed screaming, and one person in the image reported to the department — police have not released names as the investigation continues and neighbors did not recognize the individuals.
