- ➤ On Saturday, a plane made an emergency landing at South Texas International Airport in Edinburg due to an engine malfunction—passengers Ricardo Gallardo and his wife Yulisa, who frequently fly from McAllen for treatment, praised the pilot for his quick thinking that safely steered the aircraft away from trees and ditches, leaving everyone with only minor bruises. - ➤ A small Cessna aircraft made an emergency landing at South Texas International Airport in Edinburg at around 10:25 a.m. on Saturday due to an engine malfunction—three passengers were on board and all were evaluated by EMS with only minor injuries reported. KRGV
