- ➤ Hidalgo County Commissioner Ellie Torres stated at a press conference in south Pharr that lifting the nearly three-decade Tomato Suspension Agreement would hurt her precinct – importers and consumers could face disruptions if the U.S. Department of Commerce follows through on its withdrawal.
