- ➤ At the recent MxLAN International Economic Summit at the McAllen Convention Center, Aaron Demerson, president and CEO of the Texas Economic Development Corporation, said the agency will announce new trade missions abroad after the legislative session ends. He added that one mission may go to Spain while Adam Gonzalez of the Council for South Texas Economic Progress is planning a mission to Spain and possibly Italy in June (following a trade mission to India last year).
