- ➤ Jesus Abiel Peña, a Rio Grande City man, was arrested after he was found with a stolen Pokémon card worth $1,800 from a McAllen store – he was booked into Hidalgo County jail on Monday with his bond set at $3,000 and released on Tuesday. KRGV
- ➤ Donna police are investigating a death after an unidentified body was found in a Victoria Palms Inn hotel room in Donna; emergency services responded and pronounced the person dead on-site (autopsy and toxicology tests are pending while foul play has not been confirmed). Fox Rio Grande Valley
