EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On June 10, South Texas Vocational Technical Institute McAllen held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new electrical lab that will support its ten-month electrical technician program by combining classroom and hands-on training. Executive Director Vanessa Pardo said the program teaches students how to install, maintain, and fix electrical systems (a key skill in a high-demand field) and added that the facility will help build their confidence (boosting job chances).
