- ➤ A prayer vigil was held Saturday outside Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz's office on North McColl Road where community members gathered to support immigration rights and reform. The South Texas Grassroots Coalition said it will hold the event monthly + the vigil ended around 11:30 a.m. KRGV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Sixty local tow truck drivers gathered at Weslaco Stadium on Tuesday to honor David Zapata—owner of Steel Towing who was struck and killed while working in Harlingen—and they urged drivers to slow down and move over, with the accused driver booked into Cameron County Jail. ValleyCentral.com
