- ➤ McAllen Police are seeking a 44-year-old man named German Stabolito Jr. who caused a disturbance and made threats on the 4600 block of North 9th St. on July 14 and fled from officers in a vehicle, with a magistrate issuing an arrest warrant for him for evading arrest or detention (he is described as 5’9” tall, weighs about 215 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and a known address in McAllen). - ➤ A man accused of stealing rental cars and selling them in Mexico was arrested Tuesday at the Progreso bridge, and Jose Alberto Sosa (45) of Mercedes confessed to renting a 2025 BMW X1 in Nashville on May 4 using a counterfeit passport while receiving $1,000 per car as part of a conspiracy to defraud the United States.
