- ➤ A three-judge panel from the appeals court ruled this week that Attorney General Ken Paxton cannot question Sister Norma Pimentel of Catholic Charities under oath before a lawsuit is filed—upholding a lower court decision from last year. Paxton’s office had to show that the benefits of asking questions before a suit outweighed the cost to the charity—an argument the court found unsupported. Click2Houston.com
