- ➤ Two motorcyclists were hospitalized Tuesday night after a crash on the eastbound lanes of I-2 near the Pharr interchange at about 8:30 p.m.—Pharr fire Chief Pilar Rodriguez said one motorcyclist lost control, hit the other and was struck by another vehicle, and the lanes remain closed. KRGV

- ➤ Edinburg police arrested 45-year-old Alan Grasso after he allegedly shot a man in the chest late Thursday—charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession while setting a $510,000 bond. Fox Rio Grande Valley
