GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ RGV Rail Advocacy held an info share event on Sept. 30 at Mission Events Conference Center to explain plans for a high-speed rail system with 14 stations between Brownsville and Roma. Leaders said the project could boost property values by 7 percent and create local jobs while they work on a real estate trust for 400 acres west of Mission—steps that show growing support for future developments.
