🎓 Education
La Joya ISD held its first community meeting Tuesday evening at Ann Richards Middle School to review a proposal that will permanently close four campuses and repurpose a fifth as a new academy.
The district will host a follow-up meeting Thursday, Dec. 11 at Benavides Elementary to further discuss the plan.
